Privacy policy

This page explains what happens to your details when you visit this site or join the OatVibe waitlist. The short version: we only collect the email address you give us, and your favourite flavour if you pick one. We use them only for the waitlist, and you can leave at any time by emailing us.
Leave the waitlist
Email us at hello.oatvibe@gmail.com from the address you signed up with and ask to be removed. We'll delete your email address and flavour choice from the waitlist and from our inbox, and reply to confirm when it's done.

OatVibe, Helsinki, Finland, runs this site and the waitlist and is responsible for your data (the “data controller” under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR). You can reach us at hello.oatvibe@gmail.com.
What we collect
- When you join the waitlist: your email address and, if you choose one, your favourite flavour (Mocha, Blueberry or Strawberry). We don't ask for your name, address or payment details.
- When you email us: your email address and whatever you write.
- When you browse: this site uses no cookies, analytics or tracking, and stores nothing in your browser. Our host receives the technical data every website visit involves, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the pages and keep the site safe.
What we use it for
To tell you when OatVibe launches, give you early access and the launch discount, and send occasional news about the launch. Your flavour choice helps us see which flavours people want most. We never sell your details or share them for advertising.
Legal basis
Your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by joining the waitlist. You can withdraw it at any time by asking us to remove you. For the technical data needed to run the site, our legitimate interest in keeping it working and secure (Article 6(1)(f)).
Who else handles your data
- Formspree (Formspree, Inc.) receives the waitlist form, stores the sign-ups and forwards them to our inbox. Its servers are in the United States. (Formspree privacy policy (opens in a new tab))
- Google (Gmail) hosts our inbox, hello.oatvibe@gmail.com, where sign-ups and your emails arrive. (Google privacy policy (opens in a new tab))
- Cloudflare hosts this website and processes technical data to deliver it and protect it from attacks. (Cloudflare privacy policy (opens in a new tab))
These services may process data outside the EU and EEA, including in the United States. If you'd like to know which safeguards apply, email us.
How long we keep it
Only while the waitlist runs. Once OatVibe has launched and we've sent the launch news and the early-access offer, we delete the list. If you ask us to remove you sooner, we do it promptly and within one month at the latest.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw your consent, object to how we use it, or ask for it in a format you can take elsewhere. Email hello.oatvibe@gmail.com and we'll reply within one month. If you think we've handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman at tietosuoja.fi (opens in a new tab).
Changes
If we change how we use your details, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
